The third generation of Carbon-6 LED driving lights is the result of years of development and rigorous testing in professional rally and racing. The redesigned and improved products deliver more light, less weight, and greater functionality compared to previous versions. Available in 'SPOT' or 'DRIVE' beam patterns, each light can operate in four modes:
FULL BEAM (100% power, high beam)
FOG BEAM (100% power, fog light)
E-MARK MODE (25% light output, high beam characteristic)
RAIN MODE (25% light output, fog light)
For racing teams that want maximum flexibility, additional lighting modes are possible by applying a PWM signal from the vehicle.
Thanks to advances in electronics development and component technology, we were able to increase the light output by placing additional LEDs on the circuit board of each lamp. The product-specific, ultra-reflective, vacuum-metallized optics ensure maximum light output on the road and road surface. In combination, the SPOT and DRIVE lamps deliver the perfect balance between high and low beams with perfect uniformity.
The lamp housing is made of high-strength and heat-resistant PC-ABS material. Thermal control of the lamp is achieved via a CAE-optimized, anodized aluminum element, meticulously designed to maintain the full and optimal light output of the LEDs. The result is a product weighing only 400 g per unit. Dynamic drive modulation within the lamps prevents damage to the electronic components under extreme environmental and temperature conditions.
The Carbon 6 lights were developed in conjunction with a range of carbon fiber rally housings compatible with a wide variety of vehicle makes and models, as well as universal hood-mount solutions for 2- or 3-light setups. Adjustment and fine-tuning elements, along with compatible lens covers (included with each light), ensure a world-class motorsport lighting solution.
Carbon-6 Gen 3 headlights are not compatible with the Fiesta R2 unless purchased directly through M-Sport. There are compatibility issues with different iterations of their PDU (Power Distribution Unit), and to ensure you receive a compatible product, please coordinate your purchase through their customer service team in Dovenby Hall, UK. M-Sport has also developed a wiring harness that ensures easy integration into their vehicle, which is not available directly from Lazer Lamps.
