LED plant lights
LED plant lights - "grow lights" at DUOLED - excellent quality, affordable prices
The growth and flowering of our green-leaved housemates are determined by three important factors: the intensity of light exposure, the duration of exposure, and the composition of the light spectrum.
The market offers a wide variety of plant lights, each with its own unique characteristics. However, with most alternatives to LED grow lights, users and indoor plants have to make a compromise. This is because they typically only cover a limited light spectrum, suitable for either plant growth or the flowering phase. Furthermore, these plant lights generate considerable heat, consume a lot of electricity, and have a significantly shorter lifespan than LED grow lights. While conventional plant lights can last up to 30,000 hours, LED grow lights can boast up to 70,000 operating hours.
Until recently, metal halide lamps or sodium vapor lamps were predominantly used as light sources in plant cultivation. However, they are now being increasingly replaced by LED grow lights. And rightly so – because LED grow lights offer undeniable advantages and have proven to be significantly more efficient light sources in this field.
LED grow lights may be more expensive to buy, but they save money not only because of their long lifespan. They consume 60-80% less electricity and generate virtually no heat thanks to active or passive cooling.
